THE SELECTION NOTE

Why it’s here

This simulator makes time part of the narrative. A small decision can change a stat or add a trait, while unanswered minor events can time out. Our short English-language run reached age seven and confirmed both timed-out events and a resolved choice, giving this entry a concrete basis beyond its landing-page description.

Who it fits

Readers who enjoy dark interactive fiction, character life stories, and the Project Moon setting.

A task to try: Create a character and resolve one event slowly

  1. Open the current Workers-hosted entry and select English if needed.
  2. Choose a fictional name and gender; optionally enter a seed before selecting Be born.
  3. Read the starting district and stats at x1. Pause when needed and compare the timeline and stats after your first decision.

Where to be careful

The game recommends ages 15+ and includes death, illness, crime, and mental breakdown. It is unofficial fan fiction. Long-term saves, all career routes, endings, and device compatibility were not tested.

Project Moon Life Vercel app: current link and life simulation guide

Looking for the Project Moon Life Vercel app? The inspected game is reachable at project-moon-life.cityborn.workers.dev and uses the English title Born as an Individual in the City. This guide explains how to begin, read character stats, handle timed choices, and understand seeds, with screenshots from a real test run.

What we checked

Inspected October 15, 2026. We used English, a fictional character name, and an explicit test seed; created a character in District 20; tested Pause/Resume and x32; reached age seven; observed minor-choice timeouts; and resolved a choice that added a trait and Sanity +1. No sign-in or payment appeared. Full lives, endings, career requirements, save recovery, all shortcuts, and mobile compatibility were not verified. The Vercel phrase is a search term, not a verified old hostname or migration claim.

Project Moon Life Vercel app: which website should you open?

If you are searching for “project moon life vercel app,” the destination covered by this guide is https://project-moon-life.cityborn.workers.dev/. The live English title is Born as an Individual in the City. It is a browser-based text life simulation that describes itself as an unofficial Project Moon fan work.

The supplied working address uses workers.dev, not vercel.app. We keep the Vercel search phrase in this guide to help people find the intended game, but we have not independently established a former Vercel hostname, redirect, migration date, or ownership relationship. Bookmark the inspected current address rather than inventing an alternative domain.

NavSprout is an independent directory. We do not host the simulation, operate the project, or represent the creators of the original works. The game’s own unofficial and non-profit disclosures are important context when interpreting its name and setting.

What is Born as an Individual in the City?

The premise is to become one person in the City and experience that person’s life as time passes. You enter a name and choose a displayed gender option, but the introduction says you cannot choose your birthplace or parents. The random starting circumstances are part of the experience rather than a character-build menu with a guaranteed optimal start.

The game combines an advancing age and seasonal timeline with story events, decisions, and a persistent character panel during the run. Some years are represented by a short everyday-life entry; other moments offer actions with consequences. It is closer to interactive life fiction than a first-person action game or a city-building management simulator.

The introduction mentions Wings, the Outskirts, Fixers, Abnormalities, Distortions, and the rare possibility of earning a Color title. Those terms establish the intended setting and possible scope. They are not evidence that NavSprout has unlocked every role or measured how likely a particular outcome is.

How to start Project Moon Life in English

  1. Open the current game address. The entry offers 한국어, English, and 日本語. Select English if the page is displaying another language.
  2. Read the introduction and theme notice. The game recommends ages 15 and up and mentions death, illness, crime, and mental breakdown.
  3. Enter a fictional character name. The inspected gender choices were Male and Female.
  4. Optionally expand Set a seed. The interface says a matching seed and matching decisions lead to the same life; leaving the field blank chooses a random seed.
  5. Select Be born. Read your family description, district, industry, and Singularity before increasing the simulation speed.
  6. Begin at x1, use Pause when you need to inspect the screen, and watch for the first event that offers a choice.
  7. After choosing, inspect the new timeline entry and stat changes. Do not assume an option caused a specific effect until you read the result.

Time, speed, pause, and timed choices

The introduction describes a base pace of one in-game year per minute, with speed options from x1 to x32. The run interface exposes x1, x2, x4, x8, x16, and x32 buttons, plus Pause/Resume. We tested the pause control and accelerated progression; the stated base pace is the game’s description rather than a frame-by-frame timing benchmark.

Major choices are described as stopping time, while minor choices can expire. During our accelerated run, a minor-choice panel explicitly said that time runs at x1 while a choice is open. We also observed unanswered minor events being recorded as timed out in the life log. This makes reading time a practical part of play.

At high speed, do not assume you have unlimited time to read every event. Reduce the speed or pause while learning the layout. If you are comparing outcomes deliberately, keep your control settings consistent and record whether an event was answered or allowed to pass.

Read your character, district, and five stats

Our test character, named NavSprout, began as a male child in an ordinary family in District 20 under T Corp. The side panel named the industry Manufacturing and the Singularity Time manipulation. This is one observed starting state, not a promise that your next unseeded run will begin there.

The same panel tracks occupation and five numeric attributes: Health, Sanity, Wealth, Network, and Reputation. Treat the names as indicators to read alongside events. The interface observations alone do not reveal exact death thresholds, hidden checks, promotion formulas, or how one point compares with another.

Compare the values before and after a decision and read any signed change in the event log. In our resolved event, the log displayed a Sanity increase and the character panel acquired a new trait. That is stronger evidence of what the choice did in this run than guessing from the option’s wording.

A tested choice: from an event to its consequence

At age seven, our character encountered a visit to an Association branch. The minor-choice panel offered reactions to an official seal and a Fixer’s insignia, as well as letting the moment pass. The screenshot below records that decision screen in the test run; it is an example of the interface rather than a universal event sequence.

We selected the first response, which admired the seal. The life log then described the child making a homemade seal and recorded Sanity +1. The character information also gained the trait Admires the Associations. We verified that single consequence rather than extrapolating a complete Association career route.

Other minor events in the same run timed out while we were observing the screen. The log preserved that missed opportunity. A guide or shared seed can therefore be difficult to compare if one player answers an event and another leaves it unanswered.

Use the life log to understand what changed

The log ties together age, season, event text, the selected action or timeout, and any displayed numerical consequence. It is the best visible record for reviewing a short sequence. After a decision, read that entry before accelerating again so you can connect the outcome with the option you actually selected.

The result screenshot shows the seal choice and its Sanity change, alongside the character’s current attributes. This is a limited play observation through age seven. We did not finish a complete life, test every ending, or verify a permanent history archive outside the active run.

What does the optional seed do?

The entry explains that the same seed and the same choices produce the same life. A seed is therefore useful context when discussing a run: it specifies a starting random sequence, while your actions still matter. We entered the test seed navsprout-20261015 for our inspection.

We did not replay the entire sequence to audit determinism. If you compare runs with a friend, share the seed, language, relevant choices, and whether any minor choices timed out. A seed alone should not be presented as a guaranteed path to a career or rare title when the decisions are different.

A seed is not documented here as a save file, backup, or account-sync mechanism. Keep those ideas separate. Our check did not establish whether a run can be restored after closing a tab, clearing site data, or moving to another device.

Keyboard shortcuts and language options

The entry lists Space for pause, square brackets for speed changes, number keys 1–4 for choices, and 0 to let an event pass. These shortcuts are advertised by the interface. We used visible buttons for the inspected run and did not independently test every keyboard shortcut or browser focus condition.

For a first session, learn the visible controls before relying on numeric keys. A field or other focused element may change how a keystroke is handled. Read the current choice labels so the number you press corresponds to the action you intended.

Korean, English, and Japanese selectors are available on the entry screen. We inspected the English flow. The page credits separate English and Japanese translation reviewers, but their presence does not establish that all event text is identical across languages or that a language switch preserves an active run.

Can you become a Fixer or earn a Color title?

The introduction explicitly says that some characters become Fixers who accept requests and that a Color title is very rare. That is a description of possible game scope. Our short childhood run did not verify a Fixer progression system, its requirements, or the probability of a Color outcome.

No guaranteed best seed, career threshold, or optimal build is supplied here. Early events can add traits and alter stats, but one observed childhood choice does not prove a later promotion. If you want to investigate a route, record your seed and sequence and compare several actual runs before treating a pattern as a rule.

Is Project Moon Life free and official?

We reached the entry, created a character, advanced the simulation, and resolved an event without registration or payment. No checkout or paid plan appeared in the inspected flow. The entry also describes the fan project as non-profit. NavSprout labels the tested browser access Free.

The page clearly identifies itself as unofficial and unaffiliated with the original works or their creators. Its figures and events are described as fiction made for the game. Treat this as a fan simulation rather than an official Project Moon release, a canonical biography generator, or a statement from the original creators.

The game recommends ages 15 and up because of its themes. That is the project’s own recommendation, not an independently certified age rating. Read the content notice before starting if you want to understand the tone of the life stories.

Project Moon Life not working: what to check

First identify where the problem happens: opening the host, selecting a language, submitting character setup, advancing time, or choosing an event. These are different stages, and the last visible working screen helps narrow the issue.

If time appears frozen, check Pause/Resume and whether a major choice is waiting. If an event disappears, inspect the log for a recorded timeout before assuming the button failed. At high speed, reduce the pace while learning the controls.

If an old link does not work, use the inspected Workers address supplied in this guide. We did not verify a specific former Vercel address or a redirect, and NavSprout cannot restore an unavailable third-party deployment. Before refreshing a run you want to keep, remember that save and recovery behavior has not been established.
